Frequently asked

GymDoe FAQ

Quick answers about the GymDoe workout tracker app, team mode, coach dashboards, creator payouts, messaging, AI adaptation, privacy, and where GymDoe runs.

What is GymDoe?

GymDoe is a workout tracker app for serious lifters. It combines fast workout logging with visible progress, social workout discovery, team mode, creator payouts, and AI workout adaptation.

Is GymDoe the same as Gym Doe?

Yes. GymDoe is the official brand name of the workout tracker app. Some people search for Gym Doe with a space, but both refer to the same app and website.

How is GymDoe different from other workout tracking apps?

Most workout apps are either private notebooks or generic fitness feeds. GymDoe combines fast logging, progress tracking, social discovery, coach-led team features, and AI adaptation built around real workouts.

Does GymDoe track PRs and progressive overload?

Yes. GymDoe tracks personal records, lift-specific percentiles, progress history, and long-term trends so you can tell whether progressive overload is actually happening.

What is GymDoe team mode?

Team mode lets athletes join a coach-managed team with an invite code. Once connected, they can receive assigned workouts, appear on team leaderboards, join group chats, and show team affiliation on their profile.

How do athletes join a team in GymDoe?

Athletes join by entering the invite code from their coach or organization. That can happen during onboarding or later from the profile settings area inside GymDoe.

What can coaches do with GymDoe teams?

Coaches and admins can create teams, manage athlete seats, share invite codes, review participation and progress, push workouts to athletes, organize team groups, and manage branding from the GymDoe coach dashboard.

Does GymDoe support team chats and assigned workouts?

Yes. GymDoe supports team group chats as well as coach-assigned workouts so athletes can open the app and see the next workout that was pushed to them.

Can I import workouts from people I follow?

Yes. You can browse public routines, follow lifters, and import their workouts or plans directly into your own training. You can then adapt the imported plan to your goals and equipment.

How do creator payouts work?

Creators do not have to build plans from scratch. They log real workouts in GymDoe, the app turns that training into importable plans, and creators can earn payouts when other users import those workouts or plans.

Does GymDoe use AI as a coach?

No. GymDoe positions AI as an adaptation assistant, not a replacement coach. You start with a real workout or plan, then AI reshapes it around your level, equipment, time, and goals.

What platforms does GymDoe support?

GymDoe is built for iPhone first and includes Apple Watch workout support for active training sessions.

Is GymDoe free?

Core workout tracking, history, and discovery are available without paying. Some advanced features, creator tooling, or team offerings may be part of paid products as GymDoe expands. Check the live App Store listing for the latest pricing details.

How does GymDoe handle my data and privacy?

Workout logs, social interactions, and account details are handled according to the GymDoe privacy policy. You control what is public on your profile and what stays private to your own training history.
